Looking to put together a battery and not sure what’s going to fit. Before I drop $4-500 on batteries, I’d like to get a visual confirmation on the layout. Looking for around 16. Hopefully there are some dead ones laying around somewhere.

not to trash the endeavor but what about wooden dowels?

That’s a great idea. I bet it’s hard to find 53/64” dowel, though. 7/8” would probable be good, but I need to be pretty precise. Will be squeezing every bit I can get.
