[WTB] EU E-Bike shizz, Motor, throttle etc

Yes. Usually it’s a switch inside the brake lever on the handlebar

No, it needs to be 3.3V and not 5V.

A 5V can be easily converted to a 3.3V with two resistors.

Do not apply more than 3.3V to the ADC pins on the VESC.

Give us a build thread Justin.

It would be pathetic, it was so simple.

  1. Remove front wheel.
  2. Replace with motor hub wheel.
  3. Install torque arm to bike frame and axle.
  4. Order a breakout cable and junk ebike kit from Amazon.
  5. Add battery and plug it all in.

I found a small bike bag that hangs on the tube and holds the esc perfectly at Walmart but it seems pretty universal. Just velcro straps on the tube

that’s what outsiders want though! simple

RICETOO Electric Bicycle… Amazon.com

I just used these, one for acceleration and one for brake on my trike, they are cheap and so far have worked really well. I’m running them on flipsky 75100.

I have an 1kw rear motor if you change your mind. It’s currently on a 26" wheel, but you can just rip that out and spoke it into an 28" wheel ezpz.

Rear wheel is nicer imo, the steering feels way less clunky.

Does it support a 10cm fork?

*Granted if the rear is the same as the front. I just measured the front duh

I’m not 100% set on Front hub, it’s just less work/modifications i have to do on the bike.

Nah the rear is wider to accommodate the gear casette. it needs ~14cm. Thats not to tragic though if yours is a bit smaller, you can just bend the rear fork apart a bit.

I can send you some pics if you want.

Ah hell nah

Yes please.

Need to ask the bike shops what it would cost for them to re-spoke it.

PM’d.

Usually the back wheel is a drop-in replacement too, at least with my bike that was the case.

I think you can use some pins or the uart port

Man there are really no good videos on youtube discussing vescs with ebikes.

Even though i have no real expectations, i kinda fear i will be disappointed with a 10s battery.

yes u will, my mini ebike barely gets me up a short steep slope, so u want a 28 inch wheel pull u up? u might want to start pedalling to get it up to speed first :joy:
