Anyone tried truck bed liner on scratched enclosures to make pretty and resist elements and further scratches?

Raptor liner 2 stage aerosols are awesome . I’ve done an enclosure but unfortunately never took pics . I’ve used it on my jeep and lx470 . Works great on any surface I’ve tried . Prep is important and their adhesion promoter followed by acid etch primer is highly recommended. UV resistant as well.

I used truck bed liner spray all the time.
It’s great to hide imperfections.
I don’t put It on super thick to where it would be an actual physical barrier.
More of an easy paint job …

I coat my enclosures with spray on bed-liner. The texture looks better than plain plastic.

I’ve used Raptor 2K aerosols for several projects but there are definitely some limitations without a spray gun.
They aren’t cheap.
Each can produces a unique finish; you can’t expect the exact same result from two different aerosols. You might get a consistent finish from start to finish, a consistent finish at first followed by sputtering, or even an aerosol that sputters the whole time. You have to adapt as you go.
You also need to spray from a distance and mask everything off thoroughly, because it sends particles flying absolutely everywhere.
If you aren’t meticulous, you end up with glossy patches amidst the matte areas, and it doesn’t look very good…
