Looks a lot better imo!
One concern though, if the handle is bolted between the deck and the truck baseplate, then shouldn’t it have 4 mounting holes and fully cover the baseplate? As-is, your baseplate won’t sit flat against it, right?

It is mounted inside my own riser design (3d printed), mainly to save on CNC material and better use of plastic as an absorber for the riser purpose.
