So, I got a Lou Board from a nice Russian eskater that lives in Singapore, and apparently he has two of the older Arcboards models and an Onsra board, but anyways i snagged this board, although slightly faulty but that’s okay because i’ll be using the deck only.
Now, I have not figured out what to pair with the deck yet so i’m down to listen to all options. Be it a single belt drive with a small motor, or a single unlimited hub, what type of truck, help me decide!
Okay, the board is home, and will be dismantling everything.
The lid… seems to be held on by adhesive/velcro only. I wonder how should i go about attaching the lid to the deck, as well as keeping it water/dust resistant.
The deck has decent sized space actually, it’s 10cm wide, and about 34cm wide (before the slope up). However the depth is 21.5mm. Ideally a 10s1p P42A for this would be pretty nice, but 21.5mm might be abit too tight, so if i can’t get it to fit then we’ll go with 18650.
Cram some lipos in it and loaded unlimited hubs? Also if you want nice trucks for it… IDEA 150 surf rodz TKP’s are quite clean and should rail match that setup.
Post updated! I am currently window shopping and looking around… Anyone has a loaded unlimited hub lying around? Just one…
@mr.shiteside The stock lid is quite grippy already actually. The lid has these textured + shaped shapes all over, and i might paint truck bedliner over that.
You could go with p28a cells, they are 18650, a 10s1p is an idea, that and one or two hubs motors, I’ve ridden some Meepos a while back, they are quite nice.
