This is an incredible build. do you have a lot of experience with layering new sheets of kevlar and resin and stuff. Sounds like a major job. I would love to do something like this, but that part stops me. I don’t know how to do that for the more. Am I missing the part that you say anything about the enclosure? That’s been a pretty big challenge for DIY they don’t sell that many different options.
What’s the update on this? Are you loving it or is it your favorite board?

Learning composites is pretty straight forward, there’s a lot of great youtube content surrounding it, would suggest starting at the “easy composites” channel
The barrier to entry is low, but the frustration can be high and the classic saying goes “there are no failures, just more sanding”
My advice would be to send it. Its a great skill to learn!

I don’t have a lot of experience, just lots of YouTube and trying things. It’s definitely a lot of work and why i wanted to do it myself - affording the skills of someone experienced in composites is beyond my means. But don’t let it stop you from trying, its fun and if you’re cautious you can diy good results.
Still very much loving this board, still tinkering and tuning on it but trying to get as much riding on it as i can. It’s both lively and stable and sticky af on the rs125s.

Hey, thank you for your answer. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Well, I build mine as well. I custom everything it just the computer part is something I don’t do anymore and I don’t know how to use. I don’t know what program that was but Cad or something. I mean, I can definitely do routing and composite I’ve done a more primitive version of that and I put lights inside. The wood kinda like you did but not at that level. It’s very very well-made the mountain board that you were building the shiny one I do not recognize those trucks at all who makes those? Great work man great work. Seems like you have it all planned in a fence which is something I don’t do or don’t know how to do. I was interested in your router or CNC is it something you made or cause I recognize that’s a regular wood router which I have just like that one so how do you do that one?
