Switched motors and when I run motor wizard it just times out

Stormcore 60 esc. Switched from LaCroix 6389 to flipsky 6374.
Plugged in new motors, turned on board switched pulley teeth from 16 to 20 and launched motor wizard. No dice. Just keeps timing out
Using the motor wizard on the Yours Truly app

Use the official vesc app instead or freesk8 app

Thanks for the suggestions, tried the vesc(didn’t know they finally came out with iOS) and the free sk8. Free sk8 looks pretty sweet. Both of the recognized my esc right away, went through the parameters, launched the foc wizard and still timing out. Plugged the wires in the same way the old ones were. Connected the new motors right after taking the old ones off. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

After failing the detection. Go to terminal and type “faults”

So the first time after running it and then checking faults it said address A failed, trying B
So I tried it again. It started making the crazy high pitch sound but then stopped And the fault said detection failed vesc disconnected during detection. And now it just goes back to timing out.
Ideas?

Every time I run motor detection now(have it hardwired to Mac uploaded new firmware,) I get a detection failed
Reason; VESC disconnected during detection.
I was able to get one wheel to spin fwd and rev using the control section.
