I’m gradually buying parts for an expensive DIY mountain board buying a meepo nls to hold me over 1-3 years but what’s the best gear drive mountainboard possible
Take that as an inspiration.
Just save. Whatever is the best now probably won’t be the best in 2-3 years.
Esk8 grows and changes fairly quickly.
k thanks man
So true @skunk. If I can predict the future, @moon drives on Lacroix hypertrucks will be the hot topic for the next 6 months to a year.
I just know EVERY time I spend money on new esk8 parts something else pops up within a month-ish that I would have saved for.
Or the good old E-Toxx drives from Jenso.
That’s because the Kaly Gear drives are top shelf. Dunno if I’d recommend them for a MTB setup at 4:1 fixed
E-TOXX reigns champion there.
Do you want a mountain board or a street carver?
mountain board
Hey
Thanks for calling (-;
@grumpypuppy108
hey dude
thats a very nice budget !
you can have only the best stuff with this budget for sure!
maybe you like the newer maytech 8072 motor, 80mm is the bigblock stuff (-;
could offer you a nice helical geardrive for nearly every motor /
maybe you want hydraulic steering damper, truckextensions or other special stuff
what you wanna do with your board, tell me about
cheers
jenso
Haha what the fuck is even that ??
inside of the trucks’ spring ?
for example
4k is a pretty good budget
Just read about here and in the old place and put your parts together how you like and than post it here and let us review it.
With 4k on a dual drive is definitly high quality parts only.
I just did calaculate some parts for a bord with 80mm motors, etoxx all everywhere, trampa vesc6, 12s8p vtc6 etc and it was still at 3.3k only.
is VTC6 a considerable tradeoff to 30Q?
30A is better for a EMTB I would guess.
vtc6 is not a true 30A cell, but they now close to be the same price on nkon, so why not.
