This is probably VESC just being vesc…
But on my hobbywing 9028 esc, full throttle/ duty was at the end of the thumb wheel articulation. Like all zones/areas of the thumb wheel gave you a throttle input and when the wheel was jammed to full throttle position you just went full speed.
On my few vesc builds I reach full duty cycle (top speed) far before the end of throttle wheel articulation. It’s like a dead zone at the last 10-15% of throttle input. Once I’ve reached max speed if I try and push further into the throttle I feel like slightest surges in power and it can be scary feeling.
I’ve only ever used uart flipsky VX4 remotes. But is there any work around for maximum duty cycle to match end of throttle articulation? Would lowering max duty cycle in vesc tool help this situation at all? Have stock 95% duty set and I’ve calibrated the remote in the remote settings.
