That’s great info appreciate it. The oil is mostly for the noise. Have you worn through a GDS pinion?
I’m wearing through one partially right now. That one was mainly due to a bad bearing in the motor making it spin unevenly and cause extra wear on the pinion. My other 3 still looks great.

I have just recently started to notice increasing wear/backlash from my pinions on the raceboard, but they are still going strong. Had them for about an year and it’s 12T on short track on a high torque setup, basically as abusing as it gets, though I do oil regularly.
