Don’t try to put motor mounts on round truck hangers. It’s a bad idea.

If you’re going to weld them on, then that’s another story.

Those won’t fit side-by-side on anything much smaller than 218mm.

Unless you want one motor in front of the truck and one behind the truck — or one motor on the back truck and one motor on the front truck (dual diagonal, rear heelside + front toeside) — then you can probably use 184mm hangers.

I’m surprised we don’t see more of this. it would be relatively easy to weld to a billet truck like the BN184

And that’s why I asked.

What’s the situation with ecalibers? Possible?
@jonisingt35r - which 6374 motors?

Caliber E trucks suck. They bend and are just generally inferior in every way to the @Boardnamics 184mm option, which is nearly functionally identical, except at ten times the quality level.

99% of longboard trucks are smaller than 218mm

So that would be a no, then?

OK @b264 what would you use for my dickyho reverse mounts for Paris clone trucks?

I would not attach motors to round truck hangers unless I welded the mounts on the hanger.

Can you use a liquid weld ?
@b264 * For noobs*:hugs:

When in doubt, use weld sauce on everything

When in doubt, just don’t use hangers that are round, like Paris for example.

Nothing against those trucks on analog longboards or for front trucks, but they aren’t good for mounting motors to.

Dickyho mounts work suprisingly nice!
