Polishing epoxy has the potential to have it come out a smidge cloudy.

No attempts should be made until it is truly 100% cured.

I started wetsanding to about 1500 grit, then doing a final ‘smear coat’ using a fine pore sponge in gloved fingers and spreading a tiny amount of epoxy over the whole surface, as the epoxy dries super glossy.

A couple months later Id buff it with car wax. Not perfect, but oh well

I was just lurking! :joy:

I love olive wood, it’s got so much character.

Have always wanted to attempt an epoxy table, looks like a super fun project. Yours is looking great so far!

I think if it bothers you, you should make the legs over again. You put so much effort into the top - if you have a better design or method in your head you should go for it. I like the triangles though, looks pretty cool

Because im obsessed with symmetry - id flip one set but thats my style and not a critique

I would try to go with wood legs. That has a little too much “tv dinner tray” vibe to it.

I feel like something Uish Yish like this might work

But as to my credibility on the subject I did my legs with extruded rail because I had a bunch in stock :frowning:

I will go back and rattle-can them black some day.
