This is what the back of my car looked like on a regular week day if I neglected to charge the night before. Iāve at least moved the charging op into the garage to enable driving somewhere. Todayās charging setup is the sketchiest Iāve ever setup, deserves itās own gory photo shoot. Iāll share the shame later.

Probably think weāre psychos for riding such powerful boards. That said, Iām still riding my first truly powerful board with the motor amps turned down to half what they could be, and equal to the battery amps. I havenāt tried for a bit, and Iāve definitely gotten more comfortable with full throttle at the current power level, but Iāve never managed to actually gun it turned all the way up without causing an uncontrolled wheelie/manual or some other mishap. Right before I hurt myself, I was planning to see what I was actually doing for 0 to 30 mph, but Iād guess Iām somewhere between 3 and 4 seconds, and there are people doing it in less than half that.

On the plus side LiFePo4 cells are pretty safe. Digging the make it happen attitude . I wouldnāt ride it but i love the ingenuity. Dude has gotta skate and made it happen. Shitty diy is my jam

I accidentally overcharged a LiFePO4 pack by SEVEN VOLTS one time by braking down a steep hill several years ago (51V on a 12S pack) and that board still runs to this day with no noticeable performance difference, and it gets used a lot.
I am not condoning this or suggesting anyone else do it, and it may be dangerous.
Iām just saying that LiFePO4 can be much more forgiving than other chemistries.

I really hope this is a joke. Put a skid plate on the bottom of the enclosure and wear elbow and knee pads and a helmet for when it breaks again, which will be immediately.

It is a joke. I glued it back up to make removing the enclosure easier and because I painted the deck so I want to keep it in one piece. I need to clean off the road dirt tho
I wouldnāt even risk standing on it indoors on carpet with trucks bolted on.

If it is your only vacuum then it is shitty diy since who knows how long itāll tolerate being used for dust collection.

Gotta add strength to your deck with some roadside foam and hot glue 
I did find the foam on the side of the road and it is held on via hotglue and grip tape. Its there to fill in the extreme curve on the deck bc that caused severe pain in my feet. Iāll eventually fix it with epoxy and fiberglass. Might even top it off with a wood layer or thin veneer if I can justify the extra cost/ if it looks bad under grip tape
I dont understand you. You dont like how far the sportster drops down, so you added tons of fiberglass under the tip/tail to decrease the drop. You dont like the sportsterās concave, so you fill it in with foam and hot glue. You dont like the sportsterās construction and say it cracked without any use.
Why are you using this deck you hate so much and think is unsafe? Kinda seems like youāre setting yourself up for failure.

The deck will go to my second board eventually. I called them out it being unsafe and then lying about the composition because it is something everyone needs to know about. Blatantly lying about a product isnāt acceptable and neither is using at least 2 layers of wood that are already cracked at a stress point.
I had another deck from them where the concave wasnt as severe. The dimensions matched the sportser so I figured the deck was the same. It wasnāt and I didnāt even know the concave would cause pain until I used it. I donāt know how Iād be able to predict that without trying it first.

I donāt get why youāre acting like I knew all that information before buying the deck. The store is at fault for not providing adequate information and specs on the deck
Not that Iād trust their specs when the claimed the deck included 2 fiberglass layers when it is fully wood only
