So something odd happened which I wasn’t expecting.
I drilled some holes for wire routing the other day and following this strapped some trucks on and did a little push test…
The wood at the tail end split wide open. The weird part is that it wasn’t at any of my joints, but the wood itself. This was probably caused by the wire routing, and I added epoxy to the split and clamped it back and all is well now, it holds weight just fine.
However I still don’t trust it and a V2 design is in the works for a “production ready” version of the deck…
