And “the gulf of deport the darkies”

So what’s going on with the trucks.
Are they mounted drop through!

Did you have to hack up your sweet RedEmber?

Was that hard to do.

@rafaelinmissouri yes, they are mounted on an aluminium plate and we had to hack up this beautiful RE44. First we repaired the deck, it had many holes, was pretty beaten up and as we were finished, many new ideas came up my mind. The goal was the lowest possible ride height.
Was it hard? Definitely and not an easy decision.
I need to make an own build thread of it

I pondered doing the same thing on my Llama set up.

Routing the bottom of the deck to move the baseplate up…

At the end I got tiny tires and called it good…

I hope they just forgot to renew. It looks like there was a post about their site going down a little under 2 years ago, too.

I really hope that, but with these tarifs going on for chinese manufactors, things will be complicated for them (*for everybody actually)

It has happened before, and they’re not the only vendors that forget to renew their domain…

But having a VESC in transit from them worries me, even as a non-American

it happened to Newbee few months ago also… noticed it happens from time to time. Happened when I was going to buy my D100s from him :joy:

Shit, did you need surgery?

Nah. Suspected fractured finger and a stoved in face.

A road I knew well had just been resealed and not swept. I wasnt feeling great, tired, been at a mates brewery and just didn’t see the gravel soon enough. I love riding those wee orange wheels but on gravel they roll as poorly as an office chair in a barked playground.

Good, thought it might have been a broken wrist. Hopefully you’re not immobilized for too long. It’s crazy how just a couple weeks can fuck up your scene for months.

This is true. I was supposed to catch a flight for work the next day. Now I’m off for at least a week.

What a bloody week. Fortunately, I was outbid by someone with renovation intentions. But I went to the auction and outbid developers on my neighbor’s house.

Next week I’m beginning the process of constructing a new double garage with workshop.

When I hit the gravel on Saturday night, a cop car was travelling in the opposite direction, saw it happen. Gave me a free ride home and a face mop for all the blood🤣.

Count yourself lucky for that encounter with a cop after being at a brewery. Would probably be a DUI in the US. Even a week wearing that thing is going to suck when it comes off though but my doctors have always told me that the best physical therapy is working with tools. I’m sure you’re already used to a little pain. :beers:

Yo, that actually looks pretty good. If you left some sort of hole in the center you could put in a trail/brake light.

Yeah thanks chief.

Definitely been a stressful week, but life as an adult I suppose.

Things like remote failures scare me the most. Just knowing that a remote failure could cause full brake or full throttle does worry me, especially when sober.

I’ve got an old Evo deck I’m hoping to one day make an enclosure for. New garage first though, and then it’s a case of not getting too old already by then!

Haha unfortunately the design was poor, broke in Liam’s driveway before we even started riding :joy:

Once i’ve landed on a design that works i’ll share the files so anyone can fukker with it to their liking

Funny you mentioned that. I have a set of dualities that I want to mount MAD MAX wheels to.
