I readjusted the Midpoint. In its resting position, it shows an Angle Sensor Readout of 500 :

I tested RTS ON and then RTS OFF several times on very tight figure-eight turns.
You can really feel that in tight turns, with RTS ON, the RTS system transforms the Mach One into a one-wheel-drive skateboard.
It doesn’t make turning easier and it creates a feeling of power loss since only one wheel is turning to transfer the torque.
On my board, I don’t feel like RTS makes carving easier. The carving is excellent thanks to the quality of the trucks and the overall mechanical design (especially the width and curves of the deck). I ended up disabling it while I figure out how to do better with it.
Is that how it’s supposed to work? When I see all the videos on YouTube saying that RTS is a game changer, I feel like I’m missing out on something, and I’d like to enjoy it as much as they do.
I’ll say it again: the rest of the board is great, and I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. I’m using it every day now. I’ve finally gotten used to the Puck. It’s well-calibrated and the braking is perfectly modulated. The battery life is amazing. I ordered the handle because carrying it is rather a hassle, but that’s the case with all boards around 20 kg with the battery under the deck.
