@Tony_Stark should i be concerned about this? Its very slowly ramping down current but already showing 0.2v over voltage and still at 8a…
Eventually i’ll add a parallel port to the front of this board as well so it’ll be nice to be able to directly check the actual voltage.
Apart from the OSRR, this is the only other ‘screened’ remote i’ve used for any significant period of time.. i couldn’t care less about the speed and other telemetry crap, but it’s really great to have remote and board battery displayed on the remote!
the other thing i love about the remote is that it powers the board on and off as well! Super good QOL feature

@glyphiks I love your grip tape job this time around!! Looks awesome and I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the Mach One S! I can send you some stiffer springs for the remote, however in my testing I found it was cutting up my thumb and made the board harder to control because of the conscious effort required to get the trigger fully pressed. Feedback on the wrist strap noted.
On the charger, no need to be concerned. After current starts dropping below 9A you’re in the CV part of charge and there naturally is some tolerance but +0.2V across an 18S pack is only 4.211v (0.01V over) per cell and most li-ion charging systems are designed to run up to 4.25v per cell while charging and they naturally fall back under 4.20V when the charger shuts off.
It’s nice hey! The board remains in a low power state for 24hrs so you don’t even have to use the power button if you ride every day.

Good to know about the charger, i pulled it after that photo cos i was ready to ride, but i’ll see it all the way through next time and see how it looks.
got my shc fender washers and new bolts for my handle today, will have a look at putting those on tonight

. Meanwhile been quad skating inside the house with my custom Moxis to take the edge off

I’m gonna suss out the APS 90a cones front and the APS 92.5 barrels rear and start playing from there. I reckon that’ll be on the limit of being too soft for me but at the upper end of it for the kid.

For anyone who gets this board. You’ll have to play around in the remote settings to adjust the power. S mode is too light and S+ is maxed out of the box. This is standard across all JECNN ESCs. I set my S mode to 80% current and 95% linear and it feels great.

What % current is S mode out of the box?
I think it was set to 50% for S mode and then 100% for S+. This has been the case for all boards I’ve had with this ESC. It only takes a few seconds to adjust though. It’s fun playing around with the settings

Got the same email hune 3rd so should be a couple,more weeks it’s the 5th of July ordered in April
Looks gnarly but she can handle it! Quick question, do your motors get hot really fast? For some reason the motors are super hot to the touch within even 5 min of riding while my other board’s motors just get warm. Hasn’t been an issue but wondering if that’s normal

No idea to be honest..haven’t had a reason to touch them and its winter here so i wouldn’t expect them to be overly warm anyway.
Unless they are too hot to even touch, they’re likely not hot enough to warrant concern
