Thanks

This is definitely my favorite board so far, the last one just a bit behind

No logs since I forgot. Took into the city for the first time following a friend os his bike, while it performs awesome in the dirt, it really shines on the streets due not having to worry about holes, cracks, poorly made repairs and all that

If wasn’t for the size this would be the perfect commuter

I think @malJohann setup is close, but we have to come up with a way to have everything on the board

Starting with the thickest ply Trampa offer, individual pockets for each cell, a compact ESC like MakerX

This would be restricted to a small battery pack, maybe a 2P at most

Route the deck through for every component, carbon fiber or fiber glass layer on top to close and individual 3D printed covers on the bottom, depending on the component thickness, maybe the “enclosure” would be at most 10 mm thick depending how thick the deck is

do you have a build thread for your build?

Yeah, look here

I need to update the specs a bit

Small battery and charge daily, you’ll need good cells for discharge though, and have a range extender pack you can plug in.

Locate everything in the middle on top including the ESC, since phase lead length doesn’t matter.

On top like most battery enclosures?

Makes sense for ease of setup and wiring, as well as longevity, plus what’s better than being to use your commuter as a jumping board as well? It is an MTB you know.

I will be resurrecting my first build again, but with a Unity in the middle on the board, and @NoWind gas pedals for those days that I just want a careless jumper build.

I broke a belt escorting my stock evolve buddy home. I could live with 3 motors if I needed.

Also, I do not believe the speeds here. That has to be the lone unbelted motor pissing in the San Diego wind.

But I was moving tho.

Yesterday I had to go to the office to pay at least 50% of wage to workers, even though we are not working or receiving any income on the shop.

Good on you, bro. One of my favourite phrases goes something like this:

“Sometimes the hard thing and the right thing are the same thing.”

One more, this time mostly done on the street, just a bit of dirt and grass

Consumption stayed roughly the same, I don’t how you guys get it so bad, maybe because I don’t ride as fast

Went out to the local BMX park today. It was PACKED. The high today was 80 F and it was gorgeous so that makes sense.

I wanted to bust out the selfie stick for some video but my shame got the best of me  Stuck to helmet cam instead.

Only one small spill all day and no bandaids required.
