Just trying to understand how the members came to be, on this forum.
Now that the other forum might be gone, we have to figure out how to reach people that actually need help and also keep adding new members .
@BillGordon, please sticky it if you feel it’s important enough.

  • Joined because of esk8.news articles
  • Came with the Initial Migration after SeanHacker ban
  • Came later on suggestion of other members
  • Came here, because of google, trying to find info on how to build esk8
  • Came here because of some reddit post

Although it seems like a good chunk of us came after Sean’s ban, i think we do not have to worry, any future aspiring DIY-ers will eventually stumble upon here because any esk8 builders link they click will show the ‘404 not found’.

i searched diy esk8 on google and it’s the 5th link, not the greatest but give it time…

Because we dont have the content that .builders had. People frequent that forum cuase of the collection of content. Yes we have content here but not enough to attract the masses. Plus .builders has been around way longer

Do you think there might be a bit of a naming issue with this forum? A forum on a .news site sounds like somewhere you’d go to discuss the articles which isn’t really accurate I guess.

Just imagining myself as someone looking at search results on Google.
