Hey guys- I was going to use some ABS premade box/ decided to play w some kydex- trying to maintain greatest clearance- If there is some fish paper between my bms and unity, is it ok if they’re abutting one another? Or? Would you drop the bms on top of the pack and leave the esc chillin solo?
It works fine, the only thing is heat saturation so don’t go pushing 100A or anything
I would use some type of padding between them to keep vibration down, either double sided foam tape or thermal pads

Cool cool- it’s a 12s2p- will be running two smaller motors so I think the heat element will be low: thanks for the quick reply 
I would take a second look at the welds though, doesn’t look like a strong connection
