Yeah don’t worry I wore a mask, carcinogens are fun but they taste bad.
Now do mine! I definitely need to add some grip tape to mine. Mine will shift in my hand after awhile. Need a better grip while riding.
I’m totally down dude. I got plenty griptape too if you want some for your remote.
Title inaccurate?
At least I have a working BMS
Update post time
Alright so after almost 3k miles I decided to redo the frit job since it was in fairly bad condition, not helped by the fact I dropped the board down 6 stairs at carve sea
It was pretty easy to peel off the old skin by just going around the edge of the deck with a chisel, and then peeling it up in one big piece. I think it came off so easy because of the spray paint base coat I used the first time around.
Next was hours of sanding and masking, followed by repainting the sides and bottom in the same pink color as before.
Then I could get to the frit! I had a few hiccups this time where the fabric came loose from the deck when epoxy was applied, and so I had to pull it up and carefully lay it down again to get all the bubbles clear.
Then after a good amount of agonizing over getting all the fabric trimmed as close to the deck as I could, I put on the top coat and called it done.
I also threw in a single trigger zmote after breaking my third puck pot, and swapped to some 8 inch csts.
The zmote has been great so far, but I do probably want to switch the dual trigger at some point because I don’t like how much my finger can move inside the trigger.
Glad you kept the Nyan Cat design, such fun and unique board! And yes, after the dual trigger Z.mote has permanently spoiled me from any other forms of remote.
Looking sick!
Have you asked Kamen about a smaller trigger? I wouldn’t be surprised if he already had a file to 3dp one.
If not he’s usually pretty willing to whip something up too.
If you prefer the dual trigger though that’s also totally fair.
Hmm that’s a good point, I’ll hit him up. I can always design something myself to be better fitting too.
Such a beautiful board, it killed me to see it damaged at Carvesea! Great job on the restoration, looks incredible.
