La Fiesta / Boosted Clone / Vanguard Flex 3 / 12s LiPo / FocBox Unity / Bkb 6354

Finished board:

New forum new build thread right?

I’m a pretty big guy, 6’3" to be exact so I wanted a board that I could feel comfortable with a wide foot stance. The loaded Vanguard was already my favorite non electric deck, and then Boosted Boards electrified it so it got even better. lol. So what’s better than re-inventing the wheel with even better parts?

Here is the major parts list:

Although this build is done I will keep this thread a work in progress as I add in pictures of the interior as well as updates. I noticed that there were a lot of people on esk8builders that were new to esk8’s and wanted to build boosted clones, so I geared this thread towards them

Thanks for reading

A classic build, looks great! How’s it feel on the road?

It’s awesome. I’ve already been riding the deck un-electrified for years, so it feels the exact same, just faster lol

Did you end up using 3S1P or 3S2P of those lipos? If it is 3S1P, how much extra space is there left, as that enclosure seems quite big for a 5Ah battery

12s1p. There is not enough space for more than 3 batteries, see here.

The bms takes up a lot of space but there is still not enough space for another battery. The batteries are also the only a few mm shorter than the enclosure

@mutantbass I’m looking for the pictures of my raw deck but I think I deleted them all :sob: It’s ok they’re probably backed up somewhere

Maybe I can help you out

if you have the 12s enclosure you can fit a 10s4p with high discharge bms

How you guys get the nerve to route into that gorgeous deck is beyond me. :ok_hand:t2: Lovely work

There you go lol. That’s just about what mine looked like minus the phase wire routings

I managed to fit mine into a 10s but lipos don’t last so you know how that will end :man_shrugging:

Haha, thanks for noticing. Those pictures was taken just after I finished the build and I was still testing it to make sure everything was working right. Here it is some 300-400 miles later:
(With belt covers of course)

THIS BUILD STILL NEEDS A NAME!
¿Any suggestions?
