nickel question

Is there a reason I never see people suing this product. I’m doing a 124p 21700 which this is a 21700 strip. Can it be bent over and soldered too similar to the premade ones like Duck batteries have that are out of stock. I realize there wouldn’t be near the surface area to solder to, but enough? or does the electrical current with it spaced like the premade “belts” have cause a less than desirable situation when bent over the side of the batteries for soldering? hope I’m explaining this right? It will be my first battery build.
Just trying to find a place to source nickel, ideally a 21700 4p bend over tab type of pack?

The reason you probably don’t see people using this often is because most people use staggered packs nowadays

Ironically, there is also staggered versions of what you show, but it’s just inconvenient to solder to, and a lot of them aren’t that thick

I’ve used the pre-cut nickel from Mboards recently, it’s very good and very fast shipping in my experience
