Hey all, newbie here looking to buy a new longboard for my new project. I need some help on deciding the perfect longboard for it.
Unfortunately, due to unavoidable condition, I will be facing uneven road with full urathane (unfortunately pneumatic is not an option).
Below is the road that I will be facing
I’ve been using loaded vanguard for it and it is perfect, very bouncy, it can absorb most of road’s unevenness and give my knees an easier times than using hard solid wood.
However, sometimes I missed going full speed without hesitation on a smooth road because of the flexy nature that the vanguard has.
So, I am wondering, is there any recommended longboard around 38" in length that can flex less than vanguard (but can still flex) but have a good stiffness to go 45-50 km/h with confident?
In the revel thread they show boa constrictors as wheel options - did you get a kegel adaptor in the kit? Because you can get big airless wheels with kegel fitment
That said, you wanted a different deck in the first place, so maybe first choose a deck, and then see if you need better wheels. TB110mm wheels could probably deal with that cobblestone well
This. Kegel core. Roll over block pavers just fine. Nothing short of numies will ultimately work though. You are going to feel those gaps whatever urethane you use. Vanguard with tb 110’s and some soft risers. Deck will only take so much vibration from the road so its really mostly about the wheel option. Pneumatics on that revel drive will kill the torque too so even if you do find an option it most likely won’t be optimal.
