I want to collect data about the tolerance range of this dimension
If anyone has a pair of calipers and some hangers on the bench lmk what dimensions you get. From the end of the m8 brake hole to the start of the 12mm axle.
On my hanger the value is 35mm
Pretty weird request so I don’t expect many responses but even 5 other values will help me out

Data
Good data already. I think Andy has something near 35mm too
I measured 42.4 mm and then substracted the 6.8mm hole.

For the gear drive yes, Im just planning ahead for what spacers to buy etc.
Im already aware that this range is quite large but it doesn’t make a difference to the drive its important for assembly though.

Hold up, are you guys measuring in a direct straight line between points (diagonal) or lining up along the hanger?
As the crow flies it is. One sec

I’m just curious, is your drivetrain that thin or do you use truck extensions?. The space on the axle is limited. And if you move the drivetrain more toward the baseplate the motor size is limited.

What can I compare it to?
I suppose your geardrives support long motors becaue of the axle extensions

How much room is there between your drives on the MBS trucks? Width between hubs - (41 + 41)?
