Looking for "flat effect" tire links

I’m looking for any and all links to tires that look flat without the need for a extra widener. Like xcell or evolve have done. But from manufacturers directly. My ali-fu has failed me as I have no idea what search terms to use (“flat tire” clearly fails )
Criterias are simple:

  • Needs to be made for that purpose
  • Doesn’t bulge outward in the middle of tread
  • 7inch minimum but 8inch preferred
  • Must have a link

Please and thank you

A lot of AliExpress’ “tubeless tires” have a squared-off (flat) profile.

…?

Also, I’d probably prefer tubes as it’s what I’ve always been used to

Maybe he means Ali

AliExpress…oops, sorry…you mentioned your Ali-fu and I ran with that (without telling you)

Ahh…okay.

i think the Metroboard tire is the only tire with the flat profile that fits standard size wheels. Anything else like the new Excell tire or the 200x75 “fatty” require a wider wheel. If you don’t want to spend $500 on a set of wide offset wheels, you’ll have to get someone to make you a spacer to widen your wheel. Lust to circle back to your question, i think the Metroboard tire is the only thing that matches what you’re looking for.

Except metroboard isn’t their own manufacturers, they’re merely reselling it at a markup. I want to find me a source :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Big sale tomorrow Aliexpress
This will get you to all the tire porn you want

Oh this is just one option there are millions to choose from :exploding_head:

Buy at your own risk
I have no idea the best guy for good cheap tires is (@Venom121212 have you seen any low pro tires for five/rock/superstars?)

The fivestars may be able to hold a wider tire since they are a bit wider but I’ve never tried it. Ideally, something in the 60mm - 70mm wide range would be a bit flatter but would still fit.
