So I am traveling to Sicily in 2 weeks, carrying own board is out of the question, so I was wondering if there is anyone with a spare one willing to rent it to me for a week or two? I would love to explore the island that way. I will be renting a car so I could come to pick it up anywhere on the island. Cheers

That sounds super fun! The problem is legality. Im sure if it was all groovy we could find something to send you but its illegal to ride on most roads here. And lately the fuzz is cracking down hard on the ebikes and scoot scoots for insurance and registration.

Wow, thanks for trying to help… i had no idea that in Italy there are such laws. Fortunately where I live (Serbia) they pushed the law in regards of limiting escooters to max 25km/h and also you need to pay insurance and tax for it. But they were stupid enough to include “2 wheels electric vehicle” sentence so all one wheel and skateboards, or anything with less or more than 2 wheels not covered with that law.
So we are free to ride without an issue. So far, it is…

That is the same law here but it says 2 wheels or more 
so EUC can do what ever they want

Same in Santa Barbara county. Usually have a few extra mountain boards kicking around. No guarantees on the butt stuff but we have plenty of blunts and beers. Great trail variety too with some bitching views. Also, never heard of cops fucking with people here.
