LHB - what is he even doing now

I will check later when i get home. I think the wide portion of the deck from side to side is 11 inches

If you’re talking about @Ace 's board, that was @sender that did that deck. But the ones i did i just sprinkle from high up and sometimes use a business card as a deflector to scatter them more. it just takes practice practice practice. The first time i did glass frit it looked like trash.

You gotta deflect it over the back of the forearm, it gives a nice radial pattern :yum:

hot damn. that’s cool.

It needs some tweaking but the idea totally works. For example, the magnets can’t be welded and don’t take krazy glue very well so they’re just kind of caged in the nickel wrapped around them, so i kind of want to wrap them in something while leaving the contact patch exposed.

Use nickel strips soldered to the cable but longer than the magnet. Heat shrink the cable/ nickel strip the magnet So that half the nickel is sticking out and then fold it over.

another one. this ones getting a tire change, motor pulley change, fastener change, battery change, wiring change, phase lead sleeves and a whole new enclosure.

this one is waiting on motors so i can finish out the build, but im digging the orange. i may need my own orange build now.

also a blacked out subsonic century and a bustin sportster on the way, in talks on an MBS based mountain board on street tires for somebodys urban assault build, and 20+ bioboards coming my way to put all these cell groups i just welded in…

… thats 498 packed in there but i ran out of tabs so thats not even all of them.

and i’m doing a few custom flux motion builds (i have four deck and box kits here now) to sell off the shelf this spring which is why i just got the last of moon’s at drives but don’t worry he’ll make more.

Really nice. Do you have a reason for often dispensing the complementary colors in your paint jobs? In case of this orange evo its different, bc the Alu effect adds blue in here which makes it perfect.
You are mostly giving main points, right?

That’s actually a Subsonic Century, but the angles are similar. The drop is way more dramatic on the subsonic though.

Believe it or not, that orange board is getting blue wheels, so there is a very literal complimentary color scheme about to happen in addition to the color cast of the chrome stripe and aluminum xplate and davega. The gear drives, hangers, and enclosure are black though.

i know everyone hates the chef ironman pic but that technique works really well if you’re ok with brushing glass off your elbow when you’re done.
