Put urethane wheels on it and start your second build.
I have surfrod tkps for sale that would 100% fix your problem without risking drilling new holes. Since they extend the effective wheel base the axles and thus wheels are farther apart from the deck. You could probably even mount them drop through and it would have an awesome low ride height.
One more reason to buy them - I installed boardnamics solid axle and rest fitted everything with TB AT wheels, and it works great - the perfect amount of axle on them.
