The build was thought as you can always switch from pneumatics to thanes so you double the range but get less confort on harsh roads
Well used, had to reglue a flange on one of the pulleys but it doesn’t impact functionality.
There’s a small chunk or two, but no signs of delam.

3d printed PLA segments TPU joints, so reasonably flexible for a flat deck, with integrated heatsink
heavy but you can fit a s**t tone of cells in that thing
all is nice, mat black painted and urethan coated, the heatsink as lost some blade but it will keep your escs super cool

Hey everyone, it’s now been two years that i discovered Eskate, i’ve been through a lot of reaserch and i finally got a build i’m proud enough to show off here, but more than just one build to show off, it’s a lot of time reasearching, modifing learning and improving, and at the end it was two builds… or three ? four ? i’m not even sure how to count. What ABEC rating on those TB wheels?

You mean for the bearings ? 7 i think but could be mistaken and it could be 5 need to check, it roll pretty well, you still can change the bearings on the wheel anyway

EDIT: Those were NSK industrial standard self aligning bearings, I don’t see that they have an ABEC rating, but they are expensive professional industry stuff and not skate specific bearings, hopefully they are better quality than the average skate bearing,
It was easier to grab them from the factory where I had my timming belt cuts than waiting for skate bearings to arrive from aliexpress

Yeah shoulda looked at the pic. I have the black ones now. Thinking of cutting some channels into them to use them as rain wheels. I am curious how the ride quality differs between 78A and 72A.

Apparently the 72A are noticably grippier. But be wary of the delamination issue that plagues these wheels. Although I guess if these are used then they’ve already passed that check; earliest batch might not have had that issue.

I really don’t want the pulley, and the TB wheels are selling for $100 new. However, I have a place in my heart for used stuff, so I’d pay $100 for the TB wheels, including shipping.
