It wasn’t far off my mark before the production.
- It’s too heavy because it’s a rubber tire.
- The ride is bad because it’s a rubber tire.
- There is a lot of load on the drive.
It wasn’t far off my mark before the production.
Weight is very important in this application, that looks awesome though!
How does the traction/ride quality compare off road, is it much improved from more standard 8" pneumatics?
The 8-inch superstar 5-hole wheel weighs 611 grams.
The wheel weighs 2,450 grams.
Looks nice! Have you tried to pneumatics instead of big rubber tires?
I couldn’t find a suitable pneumatic tyre. So I made it out of Tongo Mu Tire.
How wide is the tire? Maybe this would be better in your case

That’s a nice heavy build, maybe you can try and put bigger motors with it to match the size?
How about carbon/Kevlar fiber rims to shave some weight?
Due to gear ratio and speed, the wheel should be 8 inches in size.
And because wanted a wide wheel, the ten-inch wheel you showed me is not included in this.
Your big motor is no longer meaningful because ESC supports 8 cells.
The aluminium wheel is not very heavy. Rubber wheels weigh heavily.
The carbon fiber you mentioned is harder to process than aluminum.
What Kv motor are you using? 8S seems pretty low for a all terrain board.
I have a different opinion
I am using 170kv motor and think that adjusting gear ratio is less load.
The gear ratio is 12:50 and the helical gear module is used as 2.0.
A gear ratio of 15:50 reaches a maximum speed of 55 km/h.
those gear drives look sweet, any more info on them?
Beautifull !!! Maybe not the best but wow, the board looks gorgeous like this
Super Drive, Super rims
wonderfull work man
that is sick! where do you buy that front deer splitter?
this looks great. so many bearings, i bet this thing is bulletproof. you going to be selling them? how much?
I recommend E-TOXX products over our products. The reason is that after-care is convenient.
