I have been working on this board for months now and it’s the same shit everytime. My drive gear has been grinding on my motor mount and caliber trucks and it’s ripping the teeth off my belts. Given it is a flipsky drive gear, if I were to order the 36T drive gear/pulley kit from @torqueboards would this correct my issue? I really need this board to work, tons of power being held back by an annoying issue.

pretty sure the flipsky stuff is for rounded paris-like trucks so you’ll either need to grind the truck or the gear or get something else that fits caliber trucks, the torqueboards one should fit as their trucks are caliber profile.

You’ve got a set of 2 different problems at the same time. Thats the confusion. Ive had both these issues so no fear, theyre actually easy to fix.
One, is that the mount you have is bs, round hole on a square peg kinda thing. I used this, it works until the set screws pry themselves loose and damage your trucks. motor mounts meant for caliber trucks in the ‘D’ shaped opening will be much better suited. there are many options there. You may also be able to get just the clamp for your mount. can you take and post pictures of everything disassembled so we can confirm this. Itll save time and confusion. Youll likely pay 30 bucks to fix this
THis pic is of the pulley, but my money is on that the clamp isnt for calibre hangers. Confirm with fresh pics please

Your pulley is grinding on your wheel. That is because the inner diameter of the pulley is smaller than the shape of the truck. This is normal. You need machined trucks or a different pulley. FIling down the trucks is simpler, since its free and actually easy, but not the elegant or best solution since your compromising the metal, not detrimental but just be warned. I would recommend this if your good with hand tools. Its free and a guaranteed fit.
The other option is to get a pulley with a wider inner diameter, this is tricky, since there isn’t much room to play with. something like this:

MInd you this pulley is only 10mm wide, which is too narrow for a couple of reasons. Try finding one for 15mm wide. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PULLEY!
I remember this, and I remember the following advice: either you need to shave down your hanger (not my choice), you need to lathe out a wider opening on your wheel pulley, or you need to get a pressfit pulley that offers more clearance for your hanger.

Do you know off hand which (if any) of the pressfit pulleys you’ve used has the most hanger clearance? Thanks.

I would really like to avoid grinding down my truck to allow it to work, if the torque boards gear kit will work I would much rather just have the correct pars for the job.

You can use your current wheel pulley, but you have to widen the central hole.
As much as I’d love to do that, I am unable to use the lathes for personal projects.
just buy the torque boards wheel pulley and be done with it

I believe that’s the exact trucks I have, I am really not trying to cut these up so if a new gear/pulley system will fix it I’d be more comfortable with that.
