I Need Help Deciding

I am in the market for my first high end prebuild board. Im looking for a board that can at least go 35mph and has a range of around 20 miles or more. Ive looked at the lacroix jaws, psychotiller board, and kaly xl2.0. Ive seen the metroboardx but it seems kinda slower and less range. Let me know what you guys would recommend.

not a bad idea to save up and get a kaly/lacroix if you think you can handle it.

can’t tell you I don’t regret starting there

Notice how Quinn isn’t suggesting psychotiller.

Just don’t. Kaly or Lacroix are the high ends. Or get a builder here to make you a custom build if you have that kind of budget

Would also help to know where you are. This can influence suggestions closer to you or in your currency

budget is around 2700. Whats with people and psychotller? I thought he used to make good stuff? Im in california.

Yup. Then he stopped caring about the quality of his stuff

 That’s out of high end

damn that sucks. I live close to where he builds boards so I could pick one up. I don’t want to a psychotiller if it is just gonna have problems.

*get

It might be fine. But that’s the kind of gamble I wouldn’t take when I’m spending a couple weeks of pay

There’s a Shitton of people from around you here. Mostly San Francisco peeps. Have a look around, someone will have something you’ll fall on love with. @CiscoV probably has 17 unused boards

Bioboards are a top end of range and speed

@longhairedboy makes the battery’s stats side for them or he dose a compleat custom on board if that’s the way you want to go.

Im in san jose.

If you’re local feel free to come check out my plutonium build.

I’d be more than happy to let it go for the right price

I’d consider a FluxMotion. It seems to meet you’d specs while shipping shortly after order. In addition to this forum, I’d look at the Lacroix owner group on FB.

You got alot of great advice here. I have a kaly xl 2.0 and I love everything about it. I can def get 20 miles of range with it and its stable in the 30mph range.

Its a really well made board with alot of attention to detail in it. I opened it up the 2nd day I owned it and I was very impressed with the craftsman ship in @Kaly’s build.

Well. It’s not like bergs are going to perform any better lol
Then thing looks like a monstrosity on 8” tires :face_vomiting:

6 and 7” tires would be perfect but why bother. I don’t even ride anymore :man_facepalming:t2:
