It’s probably a 5.5mm x 2.1mm connector, not a 5.5mm x 2.5mm connector. They are very similar, but very different at the same time. Don’t mix them up.

Can the charger be fixed do you know or is it toast?

Even if you can fix it, which you probably definitely cannot, then I wouldn’t trust it anyway and it could be a fire hazard.

Unfortunately, this is probably now a paperweight.

There are probably black pieces bolted to the heatsinks in there and one or more of those black pieces is probably missing its magic smoke.

@Skyart I can’t really get an accurate reading because it’s hard to finangle the probes into the JST and know what’s touching what

readings jump between “1” and “700-800” and “0”. So who knows. Maybe I’ll just listen to @b264 he’s usually got solid advice
