How to set up cruise control using a vx1 and a Unity.

So I actually used my vx1 board for cruise control.
At least on mine, it is NOT cruise control. It just maintains throttle position. So you’ll slow down uphill or speed up down hill

Yeah, its nice for a second, but after a bit it gets insane

I use it to force myself into riding fast.

AFAIK it holds constant PPM or current. So I suppose it would hold a set speed on duty cycle mode instead of current control

It’s been a while since this thread was added to, so if someone notices and thinks I should be posting elsewhere let me know… I usually use CC to drain my battery or just to bench test my connectors… This last time I turned it on to test a new build and walked away from it for a few minutes, but I could still hear it. After about 5 minutes I could hear it struggle to maintain the throttle and the motor slowed to a stop… When I hit the throttle again, the motor responded immediately. Took out my loopkey and touched all the connectors for signs of heat but everything seemed cool. Any ideas?
