Gonna leave it raw at the start.
Maybe later after I tune it and get better at riding I’ll spray paint it bright-green or neon-yellow.
Furniture screws arrived and I was gonna do some drilling today. But after couple of test I’ve learned that free-hand drilling a perfectly round hole bigger than 5mm with a cheap drill is next to impossible.
I got great results with a bearing as a guide:
I have both 8mm and 6mm bearings. Now I have to design some new jigs that fit the bearings.

Fitted the central spacers.
Seems like a simple part, but it took many tests and a lot sanding and hammering:
I had to reinforce it to withstand percussive installation process:
