Gummies without the hubs?

So there are the 125mm trampa gummies, but the downside to the gummies is the big hub in the middle. Is there anyone who could make some 125mm gummie clones with a wider contact patch and urethane where the typical trampa hubs are? Would be nice to take the hubs out of the equation and remove feeling every crack in the road as good as they are on smooth roads and running over massive holes.

So just a 125mm skateboard wheel?

Yes basically I definitely overcomplicated that. But it needs holes where the hubs would have been so it can work with existing pulleys and gear drives.

would be so damn heavy

You’re basically asking for an entire new urethane wheel. Hub and wheel.

That would involve two new molds.
Big $$$.

Something like this home skillet?

Yes but for use with MTB trucks not regular sized trucks that those are made for. Those bearings seem too small for big axles?

Didn’t see that as a requirement. What you’re asking for doesn’t really exist outside of custom work. Moe Stooge wheels might be closer to what you’re looking for, but no idea what size bearings he uses.

It would be far easier to change the axles on the trucks to 10mm

How does that address the difference in OD?

He could use the 120mm wheels you posted.

Oh, and then use 10/26 Id/od bearings. Gotcha

So the question is what kind of trucks is he running. Kaly are the only 10mm axle dia so… Unlikely

I’ve got $1 on trampa

Asked them already, if they sell the sleeve separately, but they don’t :joy:

I could think of a pneumatics/airless rubber tire Frankenstein though

One of the beautiful things about Kaly trucks. You have some of the best hubs, but can also run more traditional wheels if so desired.

What truck do you have?

All of trampa mini springs trucks + the full atb Ulimate trucks have 9.525mm axles so will take a skate wheel.

Pretty sure vertigo cus I got hollow axle, even if I could, I have a gear drive atm and with it mounted there isn’t much room left on the axle, and not much clearance for anything smaller than gummies.

If you got 12mm axles, you are pretty much stuck with gummies

Have you considered smaller pnuemetics? the ones from haggy are 145mm or the evolve 150mm.

What gear drive do you have?
