Hey guys. How many Caps yours recomend using? Only 2 of 680uF is enough?

i am running 5 of them under constant pressure , with a lot of voltage spikes uphill downhill, crashes and so on onewheels. with 20s and i only have 2 680uF and they work just fine. Since more than 1000km and like several 100 hours (250+ hours of use). So its fair to say that works solid.

Not all 680uF capacitors are equal. Make sure you use the correct ones.

Appreciate your feedback!

I’m back with more Hall Sensor issues. I found that while hall_analyze was fine at <20A, there is a lot of noise introduced at high current. This shows up as some or all hall sensors dropping to 0 for an instant, and the motor jumping. I tried adding 200 Ohm pullups to 5V as I saw the existing pullup was 1kOhm. This fixed the hall_analyze traces but not real world performance. It still loses track at high phase current. Maybe I need to add a low-pass filter to the hall sensors.

I also tried up to 10 additional samples, which again fixed hall_analyze but not the real world issues.

One doubt. The pill are not made to go on bottom of board? And another doubt, wich ADC yours use as ADC1 for example an throtle?

Are your hall sensor wires colocated with the phase wires? Have you tried putting the hall sensor wires inside of a grounded jacket?

Yes it’s all one cable unfortunately. I ended up adding a 10kHz low-pass filter instead of the pull-down and it runs fine now. Just have to keep the sensorless transition erpm low.

hi, could you possibly post the vesc express version also
