let’s see those 0-30 mph times videos if possible
anyways i’m trying to find a reasonable board and inorder for me to make my decison i must find out from other people how much torque is too much
Oh shitttttt, lets see those torque wheelies guys. And not those ones where you just pull up the bindings
Heck yes, let’s see some times! I propose 0-30 though because 20 isn’t all that quick and would leave less variation than 30 in times.
How the F am I supposed to be accelerating, timing, and checking my speed at the same time?
I like this thread, I just need to work out my strategy apparently
ack app has built in acceleration stat recording.
Hey that’s cool, thanks for the answer. No ack for unity still? I admit, I haven’t been following the thread.
i think you just tap the speed section before you launch off. havent use it for a long time, dont remember. when i used hm-10 and ack. the recording files were breaking up a lot so i gave up on hm-10s.
well there’s supposed to be unity apps but who knows when it’s gona be done. things are changing up at Enertion atm lets see how long it’s gona take for it to fix itself.
Didn’t realize I had this but it’s @MoeStooge doing a wheelie up a grass hill
He fixed the android app a couple weeks ago. Gotta use HM10 though, not the built in BT or metr.
Hmmm really feel like giving this a go tomorrow but I’m going to have to find some quiet straight road. My board has beastly torque, but I’m not sure if I have the stones to go full throttle.
We need a reliable timing solution.
I suggest a gopro with GPS, then add the overlay so it can be timed easier later. Otherwise I’m riding “20mm wheels” and my 0-30 is 1.2 seconds.
I dont feel like recording it because frankly it’s sad my o-30 mph is none exsistant my 0-20mph is none exsistant my 0-10 mph time is 15 second yes i know that sucks board was 30 inch deck 20 dollar ubranded dc motor 3d printed gear drive and mounts caliber 2 trucks and 6s1p battery came in at about 100
with sunny i can get to 25mph in 5 seconds
I’d participate with my build when it’s finished with the upgrade cycle, but not sure how to time it.
It have RC ESCs, so no fancy schmancy logging of any metrics.
Only solution would be an iPhone app with acceleration stats any preferably video to prove authenticity?
I think I’m going to record my davega with GoPro a couple times and measure the time from start to 30.
Be in a couple weeks after I rest up probably
This is gonna end in tears
mine would get to 30 going up that grass hill.
go pro phone app davega dosent matter
From the other forum, here’s a video of @Bjork3n’s build
(10s4p, dual 190kv 6374, 15:36 ratio with 97mm wheels)
wow
thats exactly what im looking for
Dual 6355 will give you similar results, they’ll just heat up more if you push them hard for a long enough ride
