Legitimately so excited. I’m looking for some of those sweet, sweet e-toxx aluminum hubs & truck extenders for me chain drive. Please take my $$$
Yeah! And finally you got a sick avatar i was waiting for.
That pink “N” you had before was just not representing your super powers.
@nowind Jens, when are these Coronapocalypse gas masks going on sale? We need them for survival.
And their stuff works.
3000+ km on their gear drive. Still going strong.
That would have cost me around 20 belts and a number of pulleys.
The screenshot is boring… The video is the funny thing:
This was on Jenso’s VESC 75-300 single motor board… 5 mins later we burned a A200s while trying the same ‘test’.
Please Master, help during lockdown tease us show us at least a Placeholder per week

We want your awesome stuff right NOW!
yeeaaaaah thank you guys !
Keep going please !
Hi Lee, is that the Mini?
I have to ask. Why would people even want their gear drive to be quiet!? Straight cut gears scream really nice when you get on the gas. Why would you wanna quiet down the banshee?
Nice looking stuff brother😍
I’d suppose that the more quiet the more efficient .
But yeah gear sounds rock
. Good theory but aren’t helical gear systems supposed to be somehow less efficient than straight cut gears? Heck. Idk. That’s why I ask lol
From the few that I can remember from my mechanics class helical gear have less contact surface at the same time thus less friction. That’s why only the reverse gear is a straight on a car gearbox
PS: My bad it’s the other way around, see below for smarter people
It is the other way around actually and the reason why helical gears are stronger.
I prefer silent gears. It is less intrusive when you are out in nature and it draws less attention.
It could “annoy” people.
earrape incoming
It’s mostly for cost/weight/packaging reasons. Straight cut is cheaper to machine and does not require thrust bearings.
