Been running my bushings in the raceboard like this for the past couple weeks and they feel better. I did need to add an extra washer roadside to have enough tread for enough preload on the rear though on my WFB setup.
i switched to a rear fatcone/tapered chubby combo in the rear as well after recommendations from Tito and Bence. Felt pretty good at electrify expo in LA and i think i might be able to get away with full fatcone in the rear. running the equivalent of 96.5 wfb 100wfb tapered barrel 93wfb fatcone (inverted)
Edit, @Titoxd1000 , this isn’t just a stupid meme. If you’re really doing this I’ll pre order right meow.
You can gain ~20mm clearance by flipping the front (offset) hanger, which is a decent amount. I know people want to keep the low ride height of having it flipped the other way. I have some prototype baseplates that extend the wheelbase ~18mm which which would cancel out the hanger offset, making it zero axle offset like some channel trucks or centerset hanges. I could make some longer front baseplates to match the offset of flipped hangers but still have the ~20mm additional ground clearance. This would pretty much match the clearance of the back truck (axle end rearward, you can gain ~10mm by flipping it inward).
I will work on machining the longer baseplate prototype next few weeks. Of course you can achieve similar results if your deck has room to drill some holes to extend wheelbase or by using a extender. There are ways to squeeze a few more mm clearance by modifying the hanger but I will leave those alone for now.
