With that range, I doubt he’ll be carrying it much :flexed_biceps:

You don’t know the half of it. My street build is going to have an 18s8 in enclosure and will also be able to take this brick 18s8 as an aux pack. We’re looking at basically an 18s16p, with the board weighing prob 90+ pounds total :joy:

Im taking the above board and deck swapping it to a 42” deathwish. Horizon deck is 36” so will be a decent amount longer. Deathwish with unsegmented double stack enclosure, in which I will put the SKP 18s8p p45b double stack pack that I got from @Lahkun, seen here. I’ll run a d100s in an esc box because the battery is going to take up pretty much the entire enclosure.

I can easily run the aux pack setup on this deck because of how long it is. I asked @tomiboi to make the deck as stiff as possible, I think that will work well with the suspension trucks, especially at speed. He’s also able to dig the wire channel for me which is super helpful.

Once this is complete I’ll have fully salvaged both Horizons that I bought, only using the trucks, gear box, and motors for each build.

On 2wd yeah, once you do 4wd range drop is crazy.

If you’re planning to hot swapping pack. Make sure nothing is plugged into CAN port on the D100s when unplug/plug battery.

Why’s that?

Pretty sure it’s because you can fry the can chip and theyre a pain to replace

Known issue with D100s. It can short the CAN chip.
