Does the TB 12s4p battery (with on/off switch) require an antispark or loop key?

I just bought a used 12s4p TB pack from someone on this forum and saw it has an on/off switch on the bottom. Does this mean it doesn’t need a loop key or should the 2 be used together? Thanks!

Maybe @torqueboards could chime in.

Nope no loopkey is needed.

That’s great to here, thanks. Is that because the battery has inrush protection or because the protection isn’t that important? I’m using 2x TB 4.12 VESCs if that matters.

Likely an integrated anti spark switch.

The pack uses a BMS with a built in AS switch.

That’s great to hear! Thanks for the tip - I didn’t see the words “anti-spark” on the product page so I was a bit confused. I’m glad to finally be free on my loop key.
