Hey, so I using my board and then I realized that my battery display on my VX1 went blank even though I charged my board recently. I went to check on the receiver and it seems that the wire to the battery burnt out as seen from the picture above. Do you know why this happened? I wasn’t doing anything outside the ordinary.
I would suppose that those pins shorted to something in your enclosure. Is there anything metallic/conductive nearby this could have contacted when energized?
mine shorted and burned the whole ppm cable, you need to insulate that mofo

I can’t provide any insight as to why you would get that type of failure, but I I keep mine plugged directly into the VESC and it’s been good so far.
I can neither confirm or deny, but if you order another one from Amazon you can then return what you ordered to Amazon with very few questions asked… Hope that makes sense… As the manufacturer warranty is 2 months on those from what I was told…
I shorted the pins and blew my vesc as well…
well this is a fun thread isn’t it?
