I can’t seem to align the motor pulley with the wheel pulley. The bearing in the wheel pulley prevents it from moving more inward. I could remove the bearing but then it would ride against the press fit mounts. Doesnt look like the motor pulleys could go out more. Anyone have a solution? Are there other Bergmeister wheels pulleys that allow closer alignment.
You May be Able to get better alignment by moving the motor pulley out.
What about removing the pulley bearing and using just as many spacers that keeps pulley off the press fit mounts? Does that straighten belt at all?
Will try both. Thx for suggestions
Is that little bump part of the motor gear? If so, you could try flipping it on the motor shaft to get belt straighter.
Does the motor pulley have enough engagement with motor shaft? Also try flipping on motor shaft?
Sorry, I’m thick, what do you mean by engagement? I did tighten the screws again and it doesn’t seem to move. It’s quite far out now but most of the pulley is still on there. Just the knob part isn’t
If you flip the motor pulley around, the knob part will be in more contact with the motor shaft
Just asking how much of the motor pulley is actually on the motor shaft. If it’s just that knob, then you’re probably good though looks like you might be better off with that motor gear turned around if there’s enough space.
Ok, check. I’ll give it a try!
@Steven1 That’s how I have it on a couple boards
I like my knob to be in FULL contact with my shaft
Hahahahaha
Stop calling @BillGordon your knob!
