Honestly, 105 is an even number but I think somewhere around +/- 103% is optimal for that remote in my experience
All that being said, the old Mini remotes seem really good and the newer model is trash and loses signal a lot, especially in Manhattan. The older ones seem to work flawlessly. I am not sure how to distinguish between the two other than by performance.
A solution, if needed, is to switch to a Z-mote Trigger without deadman switch
Here is a more ridable version of diy pump truck. I can ride around very well. Hopefully tomorrow I can post riding footage.
The front truck becomes to high, too complicated etc… this is the most reduced version I have created but requires a 15 wedge to turn in the early leaning stages when riding.
I do believe there to be potential maybe not with design but the concept.
Here is a quick rip with an extended wheelbase on a shortboard, i have since made a new baseplate integrating the angle into it. The whole set up is only .25 inches higher than a stock carver with 69mm wheels.
New version. not quite there but improved ride height, lower stress on sphericals cooler design. Almost at the riding stage.
The box looks great!!
That surftruck looks fun.
Is there no force returning it back to center on its own?
Yes correct, implimenting resistance is difficult with sphericals and such wacky rom
Many moons later…
Not a cheep project but I had a lot of the parts/hangers on hand. To me it was worth it. Fun to ride and unique. More to come
Must say heavily inspired by longboardtechnologies r2 truck but a different application of the progressive idea.
a new variant with the same function. Works pretty well. The angle might need to be increased for quicker response but it feels like a cx with more lean.
