We’ll see. I just got a pair in for testing.
Vapcell is usually pretty good about ratings but bumping up a 20A cell to a 25A rating does create a cell a lot more people would want to buy so they might have been tempted to do that.
I haven’t heard any rumors about any of the big manufacturers sampling a cell like this and IMO the smaller companies aren’t able to create tech like this so my bet is on an exaggerated current rating. But perhaps I’m just cranky today. 
Just me, or is it weird for them to list the nominal voltage as 3.7V on the cell, but 10.8Wh/3000mAh = 3.6V… 
You’re under the impression that these cell wrapping companies know anything about their products.

Hmm…on second thought, there could be a minimum/typical capacity thing going on here? 3000mAh typical but a bit above 2900mAh minimum? I think I’m grasping at straws though.
Where are the true 3500mah 15a 18650 cells…
