Rotors were more difficult to drill and tap than I suspect. If I wasn’t 2yrs into this project, I’d take a detour and visit the Rennlist forums and ask them what KV their motors are.
A relative kings ransom of calories expended for 40mm extra axle. The small semi cylinder with spline marks that match the old stock shaft is all that’s left of the other stock axle.
@mbs, I saw the poll for truck width. Give me more axle length without ground in steps any day. If it’s too long, I’ll cut and tap myself.
Ain’t no one here ever bitched about axles that were tooo big.

That an X1 carbon? If so, would you recommend it? How often do you have to do maintainance?
I read that wrong. Yes, x1c. I would recommend. Maintenance is pretty infrequent and easy. The UI will alert you to do periodic maintenance.
The ams is brilliant, unless you break off a chunk a brittle filament in it.
